So interesting I had the same thing happen with a pair of boots I bought less than two months ago and wore about 4 times. I write to ask them for extra little jewels to glue back in myself and they said they can't and that this was not a manufactures problem!

The store manager and associates could not find the inventory they claimed was 'instock'. They attempted to place an online order but realized their system had been down or faulty for a month at Christmas time. The lied to me in store about shipping methods and promised arrival before Christmas. When I called the number provided to track the package I was then told too bad it will arrive after Christmas on the 28th. When the item still had not arrived on the 28th I called on the 29th - the package was lost. Surprisingly it showed up on the 30th and I was told I would need to pick it up in store to process the return. Zara staff were unhelpful I store and online. They simply do not care about customer satisfaction and I will do everything I can to ensure that others know not to shop with the chain.

You have the right to claim a refund even if your receipt is expired. Even if you don't have the receipt you can still claim for a refund or exchange because it's a faulty item.

Faulty items can be exchange & refund within 8 months of purchasing the product.

Don't mind the rude people who commented about your grammar & spelling. Since you're in India, I'm assuming that they'd speak to you in your own dialect so I don't see the point of having to speak a perfect English.
